Im not talking about them being really bad but they arent really as good as everyone makes them out to be.

Anyone else sick to death of hearing Anchorman jokes that you thought weren't that funny in the first place? Why does everyone think that film is so brilliant?

James Bond is another one. The new films are decent enough but before Casino Royal they were basically all the same premise. Why does everyone think they are excellent?

    My list of films and tv shows that everyone thinks are great and I don't really no why would be;

Anchorman, James Bond, Harry Potter, South Park, Hardy Bucks, Super Troopers (one good scene rest was fairly poor),Family Guy, Dodgeball, The Big Bang Theory (although I think that is sh!te)

    Anything else?

Scarface, its a good film but it's one that dull people reel off as an abosulte classic.

The movie poster is the kind of thing you see framed in a footballers bedroom, above his bed.

Say hello to my little friend. No thanks

The Godfather, I was bored as **** about halfway through, couldn't stomach any more, as Peter said in Family Guy:

modern family, how I met your mother.

Soaps, I just don't get it at all.

crappy rom com films that seem to be released several times a year and are aimed at women and have predictable characters and plots.

24 - the acting was poor and the plot holes left me annoyed. I got through series 1 and could only manage 2 or 3 episodes of series 2 and that was enough for me - thanks.

People who foam at the mouth if you have any criticism towards Christopher Nolan's movies.

You might still like the movie but complaints will be seeing as Nolan-hating / nitpicking.

Also, Seth Rogen and those whole "bromance" comedies that were all the rage a few years ago.

Oh look, there's another scene of Rogen talking about weed.............hilarious...........

I find that most classics are crap. Bad acting, bad effects... bad hair!

The Big Bang Theory has to be the most soul crushing show ever. The uninspired jokes and wooden delivery, and a laugh track that is like a bullet to the head.

Anchorman. A lot of the Will Ferrell stuff. Hangover. Basically most of those American teenie highschool college 'we're going to get a bit wasted and that makes us soooo funny and outrageous' "comedies". Yawn. You want to have the mind of a ten year old to find those funny.

    Anchorman.

    Complete horse.

Plenty of Big Bang Theory videos minus the canned laughter on youtube. Very hard to find the joke without being told when it's supposed to be funny.

Friends - complete absence of jokes.
    Doctor Who - utter tosh.

Movie sent you to sleep quicker than any lullaby but from what I've heard, it's an insult to the book which is meant to be brilliant

Ah now! Can you really not understand why Harry Potter is so popular?

Love/Hate - never watched. Now with all the post show hype maybe I should :o

Breaking Bad was such a good idea after S1 it was just, I dunno Batman does drugs. What unusual scrape will our two "heroes" get in and then get out of this week. Meh ;)

Bosco. I never understood how they could open the magic door and suddenly be in Dublin Zoo...

Anything with Adam Sandler, I don't get why he is so popular. Ditto Tom Cruise and Will Ferrell. Elf is up there as a lot of people's favourite Christmas movies but I hate it mainly because of Ferrell.

Lost - what s f**king stupid show and what a cop out of an ending. I couldnt believe people managed to care for that long.

I can understand why people think The Godfather and Breaking bad are boring but they are actually masterpieces and deserve all the praise they can get :pac:

Downton Abbey. All my family are mad about it but I've always found it mind-numbingly dull. Modern Family is another one. Sofía Vergara is hot so that's some compensation but the dialogue & acting of many of the characters is toe curlingly bad.

JK Rowling didn't just make a few books that made it into movies. She made an entire new world in such a way that it's completely believeable. The movies do fail to quite capture that but none the less, they're great movies of which the theme tunes still sends chills down my spine...
