Rent room / property - Rent-a-Room Scheme

    Hi

    Quick question.

    It renting out a room/property, do you have to pay tax on the earnings if they are under 10,000. I know this is due to go up to 12,000 next year.

    I mean if this is not your only earnings, and let's say you work full time etc, is this still tax free or does it only apply to those who rent and are unemployed
