who did they pick last week?
    Costa ......?

The don't really recommend anyone actually, just lay out the player and team stats for the various contenders in their captain poll, as well as looking at the stats for weaker defences.

It won't tell you what to do but will inform the hunches or ideas you already have. Very very useful, worth the sub alone IMO.

Very uninspiring choice from you. The only way you'll push forward from your lofty position this week is to put it on someone unexpected ;)

I really think you need to have another look at your overall team, are you sure a 4 point hit is enough. Surely -8 would pay off in the long run?

Voted for Aguero at the poll - but I am also considering Pelle.
    Decisions. decisions. . .
Ditto and have switched to Pelle, but still over 19 hours to go so could change it back say 10 times at least.
3 years doing this and only taking it seriously in the last year, life was so much easier when I was crap at this.

Not sure why exactly but putting in on ADM, i'm a staunch Aguero fan but for some reason I think city might struggle away to QPR without Kompany and Silva.

Could be a big mistake but my gut was right last week with Hazard over Costa, hoping for the same outcome this week

    Final thoughts...

ADM hasn't done much against the big guns the last few games, which may have an effect on his confidence. Add to that the risk of him being subbed early if United coast the game. I've decided to go with Pelle.

Aguerro is the safe choice I think, but with CL midweek, lack of city form, no Silva, a more organised QPR side, I'm not convinced of a goal fest, and I'm more inclined to think Southampton will put 2-4 goals past Leicester.

Here's hoping for a 0-0 scoreline at Loftus road!

I've often thought they should have a lock team selection until matchday feature on the site. GL to everyone!

Pelle has had a 2 and a 5 pointer in his last 2 games. Based on seasons form, he's long overdue a 9 or a 15! It's coming this week! :D

I don't expect the Leicester game to be a goalfest. They have only conceded more than two once in ten games, against United.

Now hopefully this isn't quoted tomorrow to haunt me!

Rival A has Sakho,Costa and Sanchez (-22 pts)

Rival B has Kun,Costa,ADM (level after my -8)

I have Pelle,Kun and ADM as captaincy candidates and while neither have Pelle I still can't bring myself to captain him. If he landed a big score I'd be away for slates as it ends on Xmas day.

My rivals are both captaining Augero so I think I'll take a punt on Costa or Pelle.

Was half thinking of throwing the armband on Baines but always weary of a player/team who had an EL game on the Thursday night before.

@ the guy who mention harry Kane on page 1.... Adebayor was left out of the mid week team and didn't travel to Greece which based on previous EL games where he didn't travel that means he's a shoe in to start on Sunday ahead of Kane.

I think I'm going to go sanchez fair chance he will be on pens and he is basically playing up front.

Yeah I read that too but it's reported as 'slight' and the mid week rest should have sorted that out.

... that's not to say Kane isn't worth a punt as a transfer in, but too risky for captain if you ask me

Toss up between Aguero and ADM, atm its ADM simply because my two rivals have him. They don't have aguero so ill gain points on them either way, if kun scores them, most likely my two rivals will have ADM as captain and I dont want to lose anymore ground.

Had a few cans. Just switched from Augero to Pelle. Pelle is going to score 2 goals. Augero, maybe 1. It's gonna happen.

Oh god hate trying to decide captain, Valencia seems like a good bet but something is telling me villa are due a win, lukaku might be worth a pick, Sunderland's defence has been poor but they are at home

Have had it on Aguero all week but have been swaying towards Pelle since yesterday. Still can't decide on which one to go for so I might just ignore the two of them and go with Sanchez instead!

Have just changed to aguero. 2 reasons take away the 4 goals swansea conceded at Chelsea they have only conceded 6 in 9 games and im going to be watching the city game so don't want to be in the position of not wanting Aguero to run amok. Took the armband off sanchez late last week for costa so hopefully I don't regret this again.
