Have been away all week so haven't a clue what to do. Should i get rid of Costa for Aguero? And is Sanchez a must have now??

    A quick question guys,
so i have 2 free transfer right now, but I'm only thinking about using 1.
Next gameweek, do i get 2 free transfer again, or just 1 ?

    Yes, it will carry over.
But 1 transfer is the most you can carry over, so if you don't use that second, it's gone.

Is Sanchez and Wisdom for Moreno and Eriksen a decent move lads??

Some advice please, my current defence is kolarov, azpquelta, wisdom, bardsley and chambers. I am getting rid of kolarov and will have 4 or 5 million to spend, but obviously would like to go with best for budget. Any help please?

I debated fiercely with myself before deciding against Clichy, his attacking returns are fairly pathetic, 3 of the next four games are away from home and their is a good chance that Kolorov will return for the fourth at which point nobody wants Clichy in their teams. I would say he'll need to pick up a lot of points in those next three games to make it a worthwhile transfer, I'm in a similar boat and am now considering a West Ham defender, they will tighten up at the back soon enough.

Considered him too but agree with this.

I have both Sanchez and Wisdom and would certainly prefer them to Moreno and Eriksen. I've had a disastrous last two weeks though so make of that what you will. ;)

N Taylor of Swansea probably a good option from next week on. Have my eye on him myself shortly.

Very good defensively esp at home, great fixtures ahead.

Maybe, sounds promising but I have siggy so not sure if I should spread cover better

Villa while not in any sort of form right now have terrific fixtures for a good while. So Vlaar for 4.5 could prove a good buy perhaps. You're going to tell me now you have Guzan. :p

ha ha no i don't thankfully! i might just go with the swansea option and keep an eye on Taylors performance for newcastle over next week or 2

i think i asked a question here earlier in the week but dont remember if it was answered (sorry :o )

    Current front 8 ::

    Siggy - Fab - Sanchez - Boyd - Tadic
    Pelle - Aguero - Berahinho

I want to bring in Downing, but dont know whether I should do it for Boyd or Siggy

and if I do it for Boyd, then what 7 do I play out of that 8 ? Do I dare drop siggy to the bench ?

Siggy to Downing, then you don't have to think.
    Bench Boyd.

yeah and then siggy goes and scores 2 goals against arsenal (which he could) and i'm kicking myself in the teeth..... :)

Yeah. You're better off without the headache. Having to choose between two players every week is a whole other circle of hell.

Well then, your other option is to go Boyd to Downing and straight away put Downing on the bench.

lol, yeah, downing is going to play, no matter what :)

thanks for the info guys - think I'll swap my siggy. Maybe get him back in, in a couple of game weeks for Tadic when Swanseas games turn back to goodness

Boyd is the best. Guaranteed starter every week who thus far has only got returns when I needed him to come off the bench for Costa :).

I'd do Boyd to downing. I'd be very reluctant to sell siggy. I wouldn't usually be a fan of 8 good options but I think I will be going with that strategy from after int break till Jan due to the number of games there are. It would also allow you to hold fab or Pellè if they get suspended. The downside is it will give u less money to spend on your defence.

Which is fine as you don't spend any money on your defence anyway! :)

well my defensive 3 are :: bertrand, baines, cresswell - so I've more than enough money ploughed into defense as it is ;)

    Team is:
    Mannone
    Chambers Baines Duff
    Di Maria Eriksen Fabregas Sanchez
    Sakho Aguero Pelle

    McCarthy Waynama Naylor Moore

As you can see I have no playing keeper...
Already have done 2 transfers for -4...
Anyone think I should do another -4 for Mannone to Krul/Foster?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,305 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Prodston

    Do I do:

    1. Sanchez, Downing, 4.2 defender in for Fab, Siggy, Bardsley for -8

    2. Sanchez and 5.0 mid in for Fab and Siggy for -4

Who would that 5.0 mid then be?

It seems like a very boring -8 but if it's deemed an almost necessary one then I might feel better

    De Gea - Hamer
    Bardsley - PVA - Moore - Coloccini - Clyne
    Fab - Hazard - Tadic - Siggy - Marney
    Costa - Aguero - Pelle

Anyone have any other inspiration for me? :)

Since you have 2 Southampton attackers I would nearly rather lose Tadic and keep Siggy. I don't think you'll want 2 Southampton attackers for their upcoming fixtures anyway. I would recommend Tadic and Fab out for Sanchez and Downing for a -4. That would leave you with about .5m to upgrade your defence next week.

Costa -> Rooney :) you've enough Chelsea cover in Fab & Hazard.

Or, I'd nearly just bank your transfer, it's easy for me to say because I have him but I wouldn't fear Sanchez too much. Swansea have been tight enough at home iirc, CL might have knocked a bit out of Arsenal.
I have Sanchez but he's not really in contention for the armband.

You could do something fruity during int break. Tadic & Pelle out for Sanchez & cheapy
