That phone isnt even in the same ballpark
    Its 5" vs 5.5" FHD
    Inferior processor
    16gb vs 64gb
    No gorilla glass

Arguably the best phone on the market versus a Huawei. Good one.

I know what it means, I'm scoffing at the stupidity of it :)

They started "pre-order" already and invites are much easier to get. If you really want it, just be patient and you will get a chance to order it straight from Oneplus. Besides, it's a phone for people who like to tinker with it. You can say it is still in "beta" stage with many bugs that you have to deal with (customer kernels/roms) or live with. I have it and I am very happy, but now... I would happily sell it and get Nexus6 if I had a chance.

OnePlus have a new round of pre-orders open on their website on the 17th of November. I'd rather get it directly from them and at an even cheaper price that this. Thanks for the heads up though.

How much is the One plus One directly from their website?

€299. But you need an invite at the minute or I think there's another open pre order soon

It will cost you €358 to get the 64 GB Oneplus to Ireland using Parcel Motel, 16 GB not in production.

lenteen.fr still have them for 365€ delivered.

Had mine since July. Damn nice it is.

    325-330 if you via Germany + mailbox.de
    (299 + 11 standard delivery + 15-20 mailbox.de)

Downside is you'll probably get an EU charger, versus maybe a UK one if you go UK/Parcel Motel. And it might take a bit longer.

If you know someone else interested, get two and split the shipping.
Shipping cost is the same for 2.

    Frequency: GSM850/900/1800/1900MHz WCDMA 850/1900/2100MHz FDD-LTE 1800/2100/2600MHz

Is it confirmed 4G working on Meteor by anyone? I always thought it was 3 and Eircom that were the only ones that worked, could be wrong but worth double checking.

Meteor use 800 & 1800 LTE frequencies so it should work.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,220 ✭✭✭maximoose

Yes - it's a hell of a phone for the price. It's spec is on par with the S5

Yes - it's been invite only to obtain one until this month when they've had two open ordering sessions.

Yes - had it for 2 weeks now, and I bloody love it!

i have an OPO and a Note 3 and I have to say that after several weeks using both at the same time, I prefer the OPO and I haven't found anything on it that isn't at least as good as the Note 3, plus the battery life is much better thanks to the lack of bloat.
