What was with the stare Big Balls gave Moynihan as he walked past the car at Pauley's funeral? Being based in Spain would he, should he even know who Moynihan was? Maybe there's an old score to be settled there too?

I think there was a photographer in the front seat taking shots of him at the funeral, so it was obvious they were cops watching them. Hence he gave them a dirty look

That Siobhan is one gutsy young wan. She may still be Nidge's undoing. Though probably not the brightest thing to keep to the road when mad Fran is driving about.

I think our Nidge wants a go on her himself?

Is Aido the father of any of Nadine's kids?

I remember she aborted his baby last season

They're fooling no one in their economy drive by having Janeh's Adden and Detective Gavin played by the same actor

Do people want the show to be based on only real life events now ?

    Your link weakens your argument.

And no, you are the one trying to link it to real life events.

I just want it to appear logical, make sense, and be somewhat believable. For me, the escape met none of those requirements.

Last nights episode was extremely entertaining but there were a lot of elements that just seemed too far fetched, such as Frans escape from prison, Siobhan not getting found by Frans dogs under the caravan and the gardaí being able to track down Elmos new phone instantly. Aido and the travellers barely even featured last night despite being big parts the previous week, it just feels like there is slightly too much going on for them to squeeze it all in to the last two episodes, so as a result some of the stuff felt slightly unbelievable. Hopefully they can make it all work now in the final episode, there are so many possibilities.

I'm thinking Nidge will survive, it would be hard to continue the show without him and Fran and surely Fran is going to get brought back to prison or killed sooner or later (probably the next episode I'd imagine). Wouldn't be surprised if Aido ended up killing Scotty somehow, Nidge/Terrence know there is a rat and are on the lookout for one, if Scotty gets found out Nidge could use his fling with Nadine as an incentive for Aido to go after him and keep Nidge off the hook. The more I think about it the more it seems like next season could be largely based in prison, Fran, Elmo, Aido and Fran could all easily end up behind bars next week.

I'm very interested to see what happens with Aaron/Janet, Janet has asked Nidge to speak to Aaron too many times for something not to happen, but I don't know what it will be. Overall this has been a great series so far, probably the best in my opinion, it's just a shame they have to squeeze it all into 6 episodes.

Anybody else get the feeling that perhaps Nidge suspects Siobhan of being the Rat or is to paranoid to think rationally. For example Nidge appeared to be completely clueless as to why Siobhan hates him, surely he is not that stupid?

Nidge doesn't know that Siobhan knows the truth about what happened to Tommy. As far as he is concerned, Siobhan still thinks he found Tommy on the street in that state

I think next week Nidge will be left knowing for sure that Siobhan is the rat with Terence instructing him she must be clipped. A dilemma similar to when Tony said Nidge had to kill Darren only goes deeper as Siobhan is a relation. It is hard to know how Nidge will react: obviously, he will be furious with her but part of him will also want to protect her too.

I was hoping we would meet Nidge's sister aka Siobhan's mother

He did make it clear to her in last nights episode that she's "on her own"

Yes. And when Nidge finds out the extent to which Siobhan betrayed him, he will be furious. Perhaps, you could have Siobhan working with Fran to plant the Git bone, she working with the police then too and she siding with any Nidge enemy within her reach next week. Interesting that Tommy has not been killed off or woken up yet. He could wake up remembering Nidge hit him and finding out Nidge was involved in killing or trying to kill Siobhan?

Siobhan now thinks Fran killed git, he'll be her hero. She'll tell Fran she has a bone to pick with him, propose on the spot and they will get married in the last episode. Nidge will do the dual role of giving her away and the best man, all forgiven and water under the bridge. At the moment of "Speak now or forever hold your peace" in the ceremony, Fran's dog will recognise Siobhan and go for her, pulling her to the ground. When she kicks the dog away, Fran will start laying into her as well, at which point Darren (the bullet went clean through his head but missed his brain) bolts out of one of the confession boxes and opens fire, killing Fran and Nidge. Himself and Siobhan then do a runner to Spain, where Darren starts his new job as Terence's right hand man.

(We'll find out next season that neither Nidge or Fran were killed, because Darren had used plastic bullets by mistake)

I think nidge will not hesitate to kill Siobhan. He already showed his ability to kill family members when he had his brother Darren killed.
