I've a couple of small marks on my wooden countertop from drops of a corrosive chemical. Other than that they are perfect and not faded.

Anyhow, does anyone know what the best way to remove these marks, the wood looks like its bleached where the chemical came in to contact.

Do I sand and stain? I guess the countertops were stained when new.
