Becoming a Taxi Driver

    Hi lads,
I have been un-employed for the last 3 months.
It has been really hitting the toll on me, with children's ed. cost and general housekeeping etc.
I have applied to various positions, especially in delivery sector as I have loads of experience in that, but most jobs I have applied for, some even inviting for interviews and such, are based in Dublin and in the end would not accept me as I am living in Limerick.
I also have a static guard licence, but it is quite hard to get a job in security at this stage.
So my only option left is to apply for spsv licence.
So I was wondering what are the steps, could anyone give me some information on how to apply, what to study etc.
    Much appreciated.

Any taxi driver I ever talk to says there's not much money in taxi-ing anymore. Not sure how true it is though.

Maybe there's great money in it, and they don't want you getting in on their action :pac:

On a serious note though, you'd want to be making a few pound as I'd say it can be tough work at times
