Bosch exxcel 1200 express washing machine

    Hi
    I have a washing machine some times the door lock won't engage. When you close the door some times ages pasts and then an error code appears and it beeps. Once this happens you have to turn it off and try again. This could happen 5 or 6 times. You could have weeks of this then the door closes first time for weeks and you forget about the problem.

    I think it must be something to do with a sensor but I'm not sure where to start.

    Any advice ?

    most likely a dodgy interlock

    it is the electrical component that locks the door, Quinns or Exsparetise in Tullamore will supply

    same machine, different problem . an f21 error is showing. googled it and it said to press spin button to reset but there is no spin button. any ideas ?

    F21 is a motor issue, check the brushes
