Siobhan is hardly going to tell Det Cig about Git's murder (finding out about the bone from Dean) as it was Tommy and Darren who killed him for raping her

I do think Nidge will have to suffer a huge loss this season so it must be Warren or Trish who will be injured or killed

10k per series? I can hardly see the likes of Robert Sheehan working for that either. Aidan Gillian is a pretty good supporter of Irish output though so that wouldn't surprise me, but I would have thought there'd be a lot more money involved than that.

Just to add. Maybe the main players got a royalty deal written in to the contracts so they'd get some cash from DVD sales to make up for the bad upfront fee

The actor playing Noelie wasn't doing that scene any favours either.

I won't have a bad word said against that actor, watch King of the Travellers, he's hilarious in it. :pac: A film that should also noted for Coonan basically playing a traveller version of Fran and for Patrick being...well...Patrick.

Assuming the budget for each episode of Love Hate is 500K or 600K, what kind of money would TVL & Co be on per episode?

I would guess Tom, Peter, Bryan and Charlie are on big bucks as the main stars especially Tom

None, there was no cat killed in that episode :pac:

was there actually complaints about that? I thought it was just a few tweets from people and the tabloids blew it up

Love hate. A marginal improvement on glenroe but let's not lose the run of ourselves

Well Holy God! What was wrong with Glenroe??

This isn't the first time you've come into this thread fishing for arguments.

    Do you have issues blackties?

Who says it was them that did it?

All she has to say is my uncle Nidge saw him raping me and killed him.

Nidge is, of course, going to point the finger elsewhere but who will back him up..Fran?:pac:

    Yeah, it's Moynihan

Ah yes. I googled love hate Bryan and nothing came up until I scrolled down through the images. Brian O Byrne (Moynihan) and Brian Gleeson (Hughey) popped up.

I wonder if any cops will get a bullet in this? Plenty of twists and turns so far

I don't think so. A friend of mine knows one of the majors quite well and none of them have made a fortune from it, nor will they, regardless of future sales.

The first 2 series, we were just getting to know the characters.
    Series 3 was very violent.
    The last series was brilliant.
This current one is on another scale altogether,IMO.

Revisiting previous story lines, watching Nidge being backed into a corner, everyone seeing him as a loose cannon. Fran looking like his brain is gonna explode with frustration.
Killing off characters-and why not? In reality, sometimes people die.
    Spectacular camera work,scary looking extras.

    Really great television viewing.Very impressive.

A quick piece of advice to all those who don't like Love/Hate........Don't watch it.

My missus loves Gossip Girl, I watched one episode with her and I hated it. After that I didn't watch it again and I certainly don't go onto Gossip Girl discussion forums giving out about it. Just stay away.

Now why do something so straightforward and easy as that when you can go on an online forum and display petty begrudgery for all to see.

A few long shots of the Quays in Dublin at night with taxis driving around before cutting to dialogue of a group of scumbags in a dive of a pub in Dublin. Then portray someone off their face on a particular drug (this may change from week to week) before cutting to some tripe subplot on a halting site.

At the crescendo of the episode, have some hit going wrong or "shock" death. The outro will attempt to show one of the characters further descent toward damnation to some contrived soundtrack. Throw in a bit of ridin somewhere in the episode for good measure.

Well I have to say its a damn sight better than that drivel Jack Taylor that was shown in TV3, I like Love/Hate myself, what else do you expect the series to show, Nidge and the boys going off on a day trip to Doolin or to Electric Picnic festival to sell drugs.

If you want to get into it, you got to get out of it. (Hawkwind 1982)

I don't think Siobhan would want the details of the rape getting out but maybe if she will stitch Nidge up for the murder she might, Nidge could find himself inside with Fran :p

Jack Taylor had to have been written by a five year old. It was shocking altogether.

Single Handed on the other hand was also set in Galway (Connemara) and was very good.

I couldn't even watch series 1 and 2 again and take it serious....the difference between those and the later series like night and day....the likes of John boy and Darren such unrealistic characters, such ham acting......the whole production story line dialogue and acting has moved up several notches since then

It seems that Siobhan is going to tell Moyninhan about Gits bone any ways. Realistically though, how can Nidge get done for that? I know he was involved in burying the body, but it's going to look stupid if he gets banged up without any evidence.

Quite possible that if Tommy wakes up from his coma he can confirm Siobhans side of events. Thats assuming he will get his memory back.

Sorry if this was metioned already but would the 'old bill' not be all over the fact that Patrick's son was shot in the head? Surely the hospital would've informed them of such an incident and a massive investigation to follow?

Find it kind of bizarre that someone wastes time watching something they dont like everyweek and then comes onto the thread moaning about it and thinking they will actually fool people by dressing it up as 'critique'
