He signed Pennant, so wouldn't be beyond the realms of possibility

    Yeah but Balotelli.

I'd like to Ballotelli and Borini tonight.

Just to see does it work.

    Rafa signing Balotelli?

    :pac:

You know what would be more surprising than Napoli signing Balotelli? The Metro being right about a story.

I'd like to see it for a couple of games to be honest.

Would hate the idea of Boroni getting one league cup game to prove himself whilst Mario gets a good run of league games.

I still maintain Lambert should be starting with someone else up top. The speed at which he has been written off, despite his goalscoring exploits last season being quite good, contrasts sharply with the numerous chance Mario is getting (despite a huge number of his goals being penalties).

Pennant done time before Rafa signed him.

Paddy Power put this up. "Mario Balotelli has been cleared of threatening behaviour, after police reviewed footage of Liverpool games this season." :D

More nominations than any other club. The future's bright...

Don't think there's too many on the list that'd challenge Sterling, to be honest.

Id like to see young Markovic get a game, and I think young Lambert might start instaed of young Borini

    Kovacic (Inter)
    Hakan Calhanoglu (Bayer Leverkusen)
    Marquinhos (Paris Saint-Germain)

But I think he has a shout, for sure...

Surely be accessible somewhere on the net no?

    Mignolet
    Manquillo Skrtel Lovren Moreno
    Can Henderson
    Coutinho
    Suso Borini
    Balotelli

Carling Cup is a good opportunity to rest Sterling and Gerrard imo. Borini playing as a defensive forward linking up with Balotelli. Coutinho playing in the pocket and a very defensive restricted role for Can.

    I'd go with:

    ..........Mignolet
    Manquillo Toure Lovren Enrique
    ............Can Allen
    Markovic..................Suso
    .........Borini Lambert

How does Mourinho get nominated for coach of the year ahead of Rodgers?

Isnt all this voted by players/other managers?

Well Suarez surely would have been nominated for the players then and not let out if it was voted by players/managers.

Having a chew on Chillani is the reason Luis isn't on the list. Not having an impact on a European or international level is the reason why The Rodgers isn't on the list I'd imagine. I'd say if we were in the CL last year he'd have been nominated, regardless of how we did in the competition.

Wasent Suarez nominated last year though even after nibbling on ivanovich ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,872 ✭✭✭Dickerty

Highlights of U18's defeat at the weekend. Still suffering from a lack of quality at the back, and from younger players being promoted up to U21 and UEFA Youth levels.

Great finish from Canos at 9 mins. He has been excellent this season, getting involved in a lot of goals and really putting in a big effort. He and Sinclair could be a good partnership at youth level.

As much as I am not happy with what I see Rodgers not doing this season that is just crazy.
