Oblivious men. He's either being oblivious on purpose, being a gowl or he honestly is just oblivious and pays no attention to anything I say to him. Either way, we'd be better off if people like him existed as lampshades and bars of soap, at least that way he'd actually be useful

Haha I just read my last post four times trying to see where I said that, and then it dawned on me that it was probably another post. Brain dead!

Just got offered a manager position for a new salon opening in Dublin city centre, my old manager swung it. I have no experience and its in Dublin. Decisions, turning down an amazing opportunity or stop being scared and just go with it. Bleh! Wish I had a crystal ball to make these decisions for me. I'm so indecisive

Having to get up to go to the bathroom when you're comfy. I'm so comfy and sleepy but I really need to pee. :(

The little f&cker today in Ballymount who was too busy on his phone to notice that the traffic had moved on. Gave a blast of the horn and he then had the cheek to eyeball me in his mirror. Oh how I laughed.

Being a hormonal lunatic. I'm TA getting annoyed with myself for being annoyed over something stupid and I'm sat here with a face on me like an aul lad after missing the bus. I have no business being annoyed.

The Kobiashi Maru test of relationships! You're in a no win situation - anything you say will be wrong so you keep schtum and things get worse.

That's a trivially annoying situation right there.

People having inappropriate conversations in public places. We went to the cinema tonight. The fact the carpark was awash with white transits should have warned us, but nope. We stood in the que with tangoed women, with hoopy earrings high heels and one actually had pj bottoms on her. Most of them had Paul's boutique coats. They had swarmed the place and two of them behind me in the que had a loud conversation about how his finger slipped into the wrong hole. What the actual ****?

Like call me old fashioned but that's not an image for the faint of heart.

Why have'nt I've seen ya in the thread "Do you like your online self?"
That gugleguy. Bit of a muppet at times, and barely tolerable, other times...a world of his own in a mexican sense.

People dumping manky dishes/ cups/ cutlery in the sink in the shared kitchen at work. Who do they think is going to clean it for them?!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,468 ✭✭✭✭OldNotWIse

That it's taken me four years of Boards membership to realise the best way to deal with someone who is looking for a silly argument is to ignore. All the wasted energy....sigh... :(

Especially when they go to the trouble of rinsing them and then placing them in the sink - sure you could have put it in the dishwasher in that time?

What's worse is that the dishwasher has been broken for years, everyone knows...yet people still put stuff into it....why?
