    We both really fancied pizza for dinner so I set about preparing all the toppings.

    I spent ages slicing peppers, onions, mushrooms, tomatoes, tearing up some ham, grating cheese, throwing jalapenos in a bowl, etc etc.
    Everything was ready.

    I opened the press to get a bowl out when a glass fell out of the cupboard, hit off all the prepared bowls, smashed into a billion pieces into the toppings, so I had to throw them all out...not taking the risk of tiny little shards of glass hiding amongst the food.

    So now I have to start all over again. :mad:

    Nah, just young and cocky - it gave the mouse too much of a headstart in the torment-your-prey-by-pretending-you're-not-watching-until-it-tries-to-run-away game that cats play - hadn't accounted for the potential sanctuary under the couch can give :pac:

    I think he's learned his lesson though - torment seems to be a game strictly for the driveway now.

    One of my colleagues has a really strong Belfast accent, it took 15 attempts for that system to recognise his PPS. It's odd that there is no "just wait for an operator"option, it would appear if the system cant recognise your voice, tough.

    We have date night once a week, usually on a Monday or Tuesday. Tonight, just for a change we went to Dublin, just for dinner.

    The dinner arrived out on a ****ing chopping board. What's all that about? I was so annoyed about it I didn't even enjoy the food.

    Hate this. Whilst I like Fanta, you really can't beat good ol' Club Orange.
    It seems to be getting harder to find these days, at least, in my opinion. :/
    On a related note: Anyone know what happened to Finche's Rock Shandy?
    Used to love that stuff as a nipper and nowadays it's rarer than hen's teeth!
    Hate when they take things I like off the market or make them harder to find. :(

    I love Club Orange, but they only have the 2 litre bottles in the Irish section in Morrisons and it's at its teeth-rotting best when ice cold from a can. One of the little things I miss about home!

    While we're on the subject of missing quality beverages, I must say that I find the lack of Vanilla Coke suppliers in my town disturbing.
    Only place I know that does it is the Candy Lab in Temple Bar but they charge a mark up and as much as I love the stuff, I refuse to pay over €18 for an 8 pack of the stuff!

    8 cans of coke should last two months if you have one can a week, so really it'd be only 9 euro a month or 2.25 per week.

    Haha have you tried dealz? I once noticed how they have a rake of funky flavoured cokes. I don't drink fuzzy drinks so I couldn't tell you if vanilla was there but you could have a look :)

    Tried Dealz a few times but no luck. They mostly stock Cherry Coke and this weirdly nice Cherry 7Up stuff that I'm in two minds about.

    Vivaldi's Four Seasons was what I listened to when trying to ring Argos' home delivery department. On a loop. I know this because it was 50 minutes before I got to speak to an agent. I love Vivaldi but that piece is ruined for me forever. :(

    Walked back a couple of luas stops yesterday so I could get on closer to where it departs, thinking I might get a seat. Did I fúck :( Full of fúckin numpties already. Where are all these people coming from? I sometimes feel like I am on the Truman show and these plebs are just a rent-a-crowd put there to píss me off. To make matters worse, for the whole journey home, I kept missing seats that became free as the knobends standing around me wouldn't move. Take the seat or let someone else at it you absolute árseholes. I hate the luas! Doesn't matter what time you get on anymore, it's full. There must be people who spend their days just going up and down on it. Now...if everyone paid their fare.... :rolleyes:

    When people don't respond to an email giving them a time to view a room. Now I don't know if two or 10 people are going to show up later! Could have Invited other people if I knew the other eight weren't going to bother their hóles.

    The way people think they need to speak louder because they are on a mobile. Have they any concept of how mobiles actually work? Clearly not if the think they need to shout to be heard.
