    We have never been told where any of them get the money to pay for their respective homes. But considering what they they all do for a living, I would presume they pay all their bills from the proceeds of the various crimes that they are all engaged in.

    People are entitled to an opinion! The sad truth is, the show is running out of ideas and distinguishable characters in my opinion. Having only 6 episodes a year is its downfall. Its very hard to develop a storyline well if you have such a constricted timeframe. Its a great show as its entertaining and deserves critical acclaim but it isnt as imaginative as everyone claims IN MY OPINION. I imagine given a lengthier timeframe budget, carolan would be able to stamp more imagination on it. Id say he has more ideas than hes able to fit in

    1. The line up for Fran's graveyard pissing to come back to probably being his death.
    Yeah, a recurring theme throughout has been the downfall of characters due to personal conflicts rather than professional rivalry. Potsy was never going to get Fran, he'll die either at the hand of Noelie, or in some mad manner like Hughie's exit in front of Potsy.
    2. Siobhan telling The cops Paulie met Elmo. Nidge thought he had a perfect henchman outside of his circle that he could trust to bring in the gear. They will see him selling gnomes and make the connection on the drugs coming in. Its always the little things that catch you out.
    That single line about selling the unused ones may well prove pivotal, in what seemed an otherwise inconsequential afterthought. I think Elmo left the balcony door open when he went back out for that part of the conversation too, Siobhán may have heard mention of the gnomes too.
    4. Drugs scene was done well imo. I thought she was going to fall and Nidge would kill Paulie for it.
    Paulie looked almost amused by the prospect of her falling to her death, as if her life or death was of no more consequence that a coin toss. I thought it showed how callous he is.
    6. Aidos missus playing away will surely be used to blackmail her later.
    I think he's going to end up at an extreme low again, and Paulie might take advantage of that, he already suggested once that telling Nidge to f*ck off was an option.
    7. The recurring theme of Janet asking Nidge to sort her son out. <snip>La-la-la-I-can't-hear-you-stuff-about-the-wire-that-I-haven't-watched-yet</snip>
    At some point Janet is going to realise that Nidge doesn't actually care one bit about her, might be another blind spot.
    Nidge is the bald guy with the scar on his head. Fyi.
    There was some other bald fellow running around at the start of the season, only without a scar on his head - where's he gotten to???

    Well that's fair enough. I respect that to be honest if you genuinely don't because then at least you won't be plaguing this thread next week like some of the other know it alls
