No, you can't play trumpet if you are left handed, your brain isn't advanced enough

Of course you can get a left hand trumpet, it's called a bugle.

    Serious answer: Yes.

Not sure what good it'd do you though. Chet Baker had his front teeth knocked out. Should have ended his brass career as he shouldn't have been able to form a decent embouchure, but didn't. Hardy buck!

So, after you get your LH trumpet, you'll have to take a mallet to your front teeth if you want to sound like Chet.

Tin whistles are all the same.

Is there anywhere in Ireland or the north or online that would do custom made tin whistles. I need a tin whistle made up with some special dimensions.

It doesn't matter, you'll learn from the left. It's not like guitar.

Miles Davis for instance, a famous left handed player.

You cant get lefts handed pianos either............;)
When you start playing an instrument the actions required are equally alien to either hand so it matters not a jot if you are left handed.
Many guitar teachers dont or wont teach newbie lefties any differently or on a reversed guitar. Theres no point and its head wrecking for the teacher!
If you think about the guitar in the hands of a right handed person, the left hand, the supposedly weaker, less dexterous hand is doing all the work of forming chords and pressing down HARD on 6 lengths of steel wire. All the right hand has to do is beat out a rhythm.
