Can I work as a Special Needs Assistant (SNA) after my Psychology Degree?

    Pretty self-explanatory, have heard of people working as full-time SNA's upon completion of their degrees (obviously if they were lucky enough). Is the qualification there to work as an SNA directly preceding the completion of a B.A. Hons Degree in Psychology does anyone know?

    I'm sure you can Woun, if only because I had a six week placement as one when I was doing my undergraduate!

    Would anyone know the chances of getting a position as an SNA in the current job market for even 3-4 days a week in an ASD Unit or with a child on the Spectrum? I'll have received a B.A. Honours degree (2.1 presumably) in Psychology from a University and am considering undertaking a Taught Doctorate (D.Psych.Sci) in Behavior Analysis, which requires you to work within a post with individuals on the Spectrum for at least 3 days a week
