Unless you don't like money, don't go looking in Holland and Barrett.

MyProtein, BulkPowders and TheProteinWorks are all good value suppliers of whey.

I'd second Bulk Powders. Or anywhere that's not Holland and Barrett!
There's a referral thread somewhere on boards for BulkPowders for free delivery etc. Probably one for MyProtein etc somewhere as well.

I'm not sure if nutrabio.com delivers there but I like the prices on their 15 lb tubs of whey protein. Andas was mention Bulksupplements is a good option as well(shipping still comes into play though)...

Discountsupplements.ie is a good place really the only people that I think would buy from Holland or barret are those who just started their fitness journey USN 5lbs whey tub cost 74 euro there while in a supplement store it would cost 50 even cheaper online

Noobie question, but what's the issue with H&B....price?

Doing a high level review on the contents of their whey protein, it seems broadly similar to the other options?

Way more expensive than online options mostly.

Quality wise there whey protein is fine but price wise unless you don't mind spending an additional 20 quid on the same product for whatever reason you have isnt that great the "other options" are probably similar retail shops that specialise in a broad category of health product however Sport nutrition stores is where you will find the cheapest prices

Cheers - they've been running a 2 for 1 deal for some time, so I found they were actually cheaper on that basis, compared to iProtein etc....

Still works out more than MyProtein, BulkPowders or TheProteinWorks to name but a few.

Dont forget to compare the sizes a as well! sometimes shops advertise a 2 for 1 deal but its basicely a two 1 Kg tub which amount for 2 kg total for a total price that is higher then the average 2.2Kg whey tub

Same price for 5kg off myprotein. We should just sticky a thread on the best place to buy supplements.

    Same taste?

MP vanilla tastes every bit as good as ON gold standard vanilla.

Or every bit as bad if you don't like vanilla.

Last time I checked, H&B whey had a 70% protein content compared to a minimum 80% for other companies. Even less bang for ones buck. Myprotein UK and go nutrition via parcel motel, theproteinworks and bulk powders all get my business depending on what's on sale/offer codes available.

Better value on the MP UK site than the Irish one?

They have a ****load listed on the MP site. Which one are you looking at?

I go between the two, I shop via quidco on the UK site and there's often extra voucher codes there that can work out cheaper plus cashback. I would still need to send any deliveries to parcel motel anyway as I don't drive to get to the sorting office whereas there is a PM directly across from work so I'm paying that fee regardless.

ETA quidco do cashback and codes for GN, TPW and BP as well.

hpnutrition.ie are very good also. you can use pricespy.ie to compare if you put in the brand and size you want.

    Impact Whey Protein

I add up the offer codes, cashback and any loyalty points in my account across all the websites, whichever works out cheapest. I usually order well in advance so I can hang aroundfor the sales on what I need.

    Impact Whey Protein

    Myprotein - 2.5kg is €44 including shipping.
    Iprotein - 2.27kg is €49 including shipping.

Slightly more expensive but I might just stick with ON on iprotein.

    €39 for IWP on MP.

For more than a quarter of a kilo of protein (ON @ 81%, MP @ 80%).

But if you don't want to have that saving, get the MP product and I'll PM you my address and you can send me the tenner ;)

    Ah yes, you'd included delivery.

And I also hadn't included 15% discount, which means the delivered cost of 2.5kg of IWP from MP comes in at €37.14.

    For 270g more protein.
