I wouldn't take siggy out. It's a tough question I don't have sterling and may well be taking out both fab and adm next week .

fab to hazard is also a possibility for me this week.....need to shake things up a bit. holding fire on falcao to aguero also for same reason

I'm hoping to have a midfield of Siggy Chadli hazard sanchez or Walcott in the next few weeks.

I'd love a wildcard that big flashy red button just screaming press me press me ha.

And I still haven't even decided if I'm going to use it. I'm afraid if I do I'll go completely off the walls and end up bringing in the who's who of differentials and go on a world tour of FPL legends past and present.

It's probably the biggest test of my FPL reformation. That red button could well be the self destruct button in disguise :pac:

If I were you I'd wait till Walcott comes back and rejig your team for him maybe the next international break. Well I'm lying really if I were you I wouldn't be able to resist the urge to play it .But at this stage you should resist as it's been a kind international break no real injuries and come the next international break the CL group stage is nearly over and you could set your team up for Xmas.

I've decided to forget about pressing it myself. Wait and see how the next international break pans out :)

I was thinking of getting Balotelli, I presume he'll start at the weekend and Liverpool had decent fixtures

He didn't start the last game and Sturridge is probably back this weekend so not sure how you can presume that. In any case it's a bad transfer as he hasn't being playing well and that's coming from a Pool fan.

I gambled on Balotelli earlier this season in a moment of madness and I nearly packed in the game because of it.

He had 1 assist in 50+ appearances for City.
He had the worst conversion ratio in all of Europe last year (among top flight clubs afaik).
And I've seen a stat recently that in his last 20 PL matches he has had 1 goal from 63 attempts....

    TLDR: he's worth a gamble :)

I brought him in on my wildcard for a one week punt for Costa and captained him
Costa got a hat trick that weekend Balotelli did not touch the ball inside the box
    don't do it

I've come to a similar conclusion myself. Currently have The Template in midfield and Costa, Pellè and Dzeko upfront. Gonna hold off till next week and then go Fab and Dzeko to Chadli and Aguero, and then swap out Sterling and ADM when the time's right.

small sample size, should have given him more time.

he has still not scored and continues to wander around outside the box.
and now sturrdige is back !
amyway it was always a one week punt . thought Costa was injured. kept the money to upgrade no matter what. got burnt :D

Is that a dig at me?

Either way I'm done, all I said really was that I'd prefer Wellbeck for the future and I'll stick with that. It's just an opinion, I considered his goalscoring record to date decent also, albeit three came in the Champs league, he's been unlucky on a couple of occasions but I won't get into that as it can be said about anyone.
    Don't mind them Swiper.

However, I'm bringing him in this week, which almost certainly means you are in fact wrong.

Have 2 transfers so was thinking Siggy and Aguero for Hazard and Lukaku, or maybe just Peile for Lukaku and hold til next week?

I wouldn't be selling Hazard if I had him.

Ye hazard is a bandwagon/ must have waiting to happen. Am considsring a fab to hazard switch this week.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 784 ✭✭✭FrClintPower

Yeah, he looked awesome in Chelsea's last game, and with Walcott coming back there's going to be some serious competition for Fab, ADM and Sterling in my midfield.

What are peoples views on a Fab & Sterling transfer to Hazard & Chadli (leaves 1.8m in the bank to improve defence)?

My forwards are Welbs, Costa & Aguero so not considering movement on these for now

Ye I'd go for it but would hold off till next week.

In my teen years I'd have screamed at you

    :D

More seriously, as Busts and Rikand said, it may now be wiser to wait for the next international break to press this demonic shiny red button :pac:.

Probably going to bank my transfer this week. Then over the following 2 weeks do the following:

    Fabregas - Hazard
    Coloccini - Azpil
    Sterling - Henderson

This will leave me with 1.6m itb

Wouldn't you consider Chadli or Walcott if you have the cash (which I guess you should have with £1.6m in the bank...)?

I think I might just bank the transfer. Nothing screaming at me really. Ulloa maybe but it'll be Aguero who is brought and not taking a hit.
    Begovic
    Clyne - Ivan - Duff
Fabregas - Sterling - Sigurdsson - Di Maria
    Costa (c) - Pelle - Ulloa
    SUBS: Boyd, Nailor, Moore

If you could unbold your team, we could make suggestions... Otherwise I think we're arguing a moderators decision :)

What's your planned double move to get Aguero in?

Has anyone watched much of Southampton recently?

Tempted by Tadic or Mane. Is Tadic worth the extra 0.6m? I'm starting to think about a few defensive upgrades so would bank it for another few weeks.

Think I will transfer out Van Aanholt based on his upcoming fixtures. Azpi is tempting me but worried that he will be the one to make way when Luis finally gets some game time. Want to invest my extra cash to upgrade defence and have enough to do Van Aanholt and Taylor to Gibbs and Kaboul (after they play City). Would leave me with starting 11 of:

    Schmeichel
    Bertrand Gibbs Kaboul
    Fab Sterling Siggy ADM
    Aguero Costa Welbeck

Welbeck is finding his feet i think. Understandable since he never, ever got a proper run at cf while at United. I've seen enough from him to have him in already, but that's the beauty of fantasy football, the do i/don't i situations, they have the potential to work or backfire, risk/reward etc... Arsenal's injury list in midfield is a bit of a concern in terms of creating chances, but Walcott's return should help in that regard. Ramsey's return won't be too far behind i imagine. I'm not panicking. I can't see myself shipping Welbeck out, even if he draws a blank this weekend. i paid 7M for him. i think that will prove a bargain as the season progresses. We shall see

    transfer banked this week :)

Mane was playing for Ivory Coast last night so he might start Long this weekend.

Arsenals injury crisis in midfield actually makes Welbeck more appealing for me.
They still have plenty of people to create chances, I think the injuries just make Welbeck more pivotal to those chances.
