    Hipster Tax Scheme.

Increase the tax on Albums of bands nobody has heard of. With a surcharge for Vinyl

Anyone buying a starbucks or an apple product while dressed as a homeless person should be charged an extra 23%

Non-lense glasses will be equal in price to proper glasses.

    • Introduce welfare cuts based on tax contributions over last 5-10 years - a 10%-20% reduction based on the length of time out of work.
    • A cap of no more than €20,000 per family in welfare.
    • assign rent allowance budget to development schemes on empty housing blocks.
    • Increase in disability/carer allowance.
    • force long term unemployed to earn their dole by improving community work schemes.
    • Introduce a maintaince bill that would see loan parent allowance deducted from the father of the child automatically.
    • Cap on charity CEO salaries.
    • assign savings on welfare to improving the health system.
    • introduce a bill where people on 3+ convictions, have their legal costs deducted from their social welfare/tax as opposed to free legal aid.

I'd introduce a scheme were only those who attended mandatory classes in ''Child upbringing'' could claim Childs benefit. Idea would be 8 hour long classes on a Saturday teaching parents:

    1. Cooking and Healthy eating
    2. How to look after a childs education
    3. How to administer first aid to a child
    4. How to look after a childs mental state
    5. Recreational activities.
    6. How to look after a baby
    7. How to look after a teenager
    8. How to budget for a child

Sounds facist, but why should those who claim child benefit receive it when the money could end up going on a playstation when it could be spent on football boots or something more worthwhile.

Good idea above. I know a parent who brings her daughter to school eating her breakfast along the way...a bag of tayto. It makes me very sad.

Same. I know a family who eats takeaway pizza every night. It's less effort, but the kids are getting bigger and the wallet's getting smaller apparently.

    9. How to do all of the above and be able to resist the urge of posting pictures of it on Facebook.
