Cash for car....logbook given to buyer

    I sold my car to a guy for scrap and he took the log book and said he'd give me a c.o.d thus far he hasnt. Am i now liable for the tax fines toll ect ect..... how do i sort it???? Any ideas?? It was my first time to sell a car. Ive now realised i may have made a mess of it....

    Have you checked that he is from an authorised vehicle disposal company?
    Did he give you any other paperwork ie a receipt, or was it just cash in hand?

    No it was cash in hand. Silly but i know that now. Not sure what to do???

    Contact them again or go to the place.
    Google the name to find any info that point to them being authorised.
