Car Hire Orlando airport, recommendations please

I need to book car hire over Christmas. One day MCO/FLL and then four days FLL/MCO - pre and post cruise. Any recommendations on where best to book? I'm thinking of Tour America where you can select "gold" option which includes extra driver + tank of fuel which I prefer. It doesn't, however give the name of the car hire company they use which I'd be easier knowing. We're three adults + one child so maybe intermediate or standard size? All experience with car hire Orlando much appreciated.

I booked a Standard SUV with Alamo on rentalcars.com in February and found them great . I thought that I’d get hit with loads of excess when I got to Orlando but there was no problems.

When we got to the rental car park there was no standard SUV’s available so I got upgraded to 7 seater. It was great for the kids because it had a built in DVD player.

Thanks, that's good to know. I was concentrating on Irish sites as I was,as you mentioned, afraid of being charged extras when I got there. I will check out rentalcars.com.

I've used rentalcars.com for Orlando too- they always seem to have the best price. I've rented from Alamo, Budget and National through them and all the cars were fine
