About a month ago I realized that Uncle Sam was derived from United States of America. Dont know how it came to me or how I never saw it before.

If enough people use it, it IS a "real word". If a word isn't in the dictionary, it doesn't mean it's not a word. It just means that the dictionary hasn't recorded its usage yet.

Dictionaries record words AFTER they've gone into general use. And biopic is in quite a few dictionaries.
