Is there a bus that takes you here from the centre of town or is it just as quick to walk?

There are a number of buses that would drop you close to that place, (no idea what number the buses are though as it's years since I used the bus) but if it was dry you could definitely walk it from the city centre, which would take you about 25 or 30 mins each way.

The 303 bus will take you from town to Janesboro Church on Roxboro Road and the SC is just a quick walk up the road.

Getting back, you can board the 303 outside ALDI across from Topaz on Childers Road.
