ROS Offline Application Printed Form 11 Return Summary

Hi
I am not set up on ROS as I only discovered I am a chargeable person yesterday.
I had previously been submitting returns through PAYE Form 12.
So I downloaded the ROS Offline software and completed Form 11.
It allows you to Generate a 'Print View' with all the calculations and Liability and it has a declation to sign hard copy on the bottom.

I presume the idea is this can be printed, signed and posted to Revenue with the Liability due?

The form contains this towards the end:

"This declaration is for the purposes of Section 91K TCA 1997 only. It is a declaration confirming the information that is contained in the Form 11 that will be submitted electronically. This hard copy should be retained by you; it is not your return (but is a copy of what is contained in your tax return) and it should not be sent to Revenue."

So no, you can't print it and send it to Revenue - they won't accept it. It's a case of either uploading it through ROS, or filling in an actual form 11 by hand and sending that in.
