    Hi all
Bought a car with UK reg plates
However car was previously registered on southern registration plates.(VRT was paid but never claimed back)
    QUESTION!
Where should i proceed to obtain new logbook in my name?
there's no Irish logbook for the car i only have V5C form on sellers name.
I have old number plates of the car too.
    Please Excuse my English..
    thanks you!

I think it needs to be booked for a VRT assessment at the NCT centre. As it was originally an Irish car it will already have had the VRT paid once before so there is no requirement to pay it again but you still probably have to go through the same process however.

Once the NCT inspect it and process the paperwork you should then receive a new logbook in the post. The car should also get it's original Irish registration number.

You would probably have better luck ringing an NCT centre.
