Hairdresser made a mess of my hair

    Just looking for some advice.

    I went to my usual hair salon on Saturday for a colour and cut (I have been going here 3 years). When the girl was bringing my colour through to the ends she asked me my surname. Turned out they had put some other girls colour in my hair which was far darker than my own. They had to cleanse this out for approx 20 mins. All in all I was there 5 hours for a job which should have taken 2.

    My hair is now like straw and is so bad I can't get a brush through it. My own colour also didn't take after all the cleansing so it's a strange dull colour.

    Really afraid hair will now break off. :eek:

    What should I do?

    I'd go back into them. You have been their customer for three years. Take photos of the condition of your hair now. Ask them what they recommend. I wouldn't let them try and color it again so soon. Maybe they could offer you some complementary intense conditioning treatments for a few weeks before redoing your color as you had actually requested.
