Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi!

I've taken on the task of helping to organise Christmas markets in a local community. We would really like to do a good job and have been brainstorming stalls / food stands / crafts to have on the day.

Does anyone have any advice on good stalls to have? We're starting from scratch so any advice is appreciated!

    Thanks :)

Try not to have too much of the same thing - it's a real downer when you see stall after stall of the same food/decoration/gifts in one market.
I love a stall selling a hot drink be it coffee, tea or, since it's Christmas, Mulled Wine or Hot Spiced Apple Juice - really infuses a bit of cheer! :)

As Washiskin said above a hot drink stall would be ideal, with the likes of hot chocolate or maybe even egg nog ( preferably non alcoholic ) as folk could be driving, cake & popcorn stalls are always a huge crowd puller & maybe a face painting stall for the little ones. maybe a stall that sells stocking fillers as folk are often stuck for ideas on what to fill stockings with & in order to accommodate the new year maybe a stall with 2015 calendars, maybe you could liaise with a few animal charities to get a bulk & sell them with the proceeds from those being sold be forwarded on to that charity.
