juniors and prizes

Hi was just wondering what's the situation with prizes for junior golfers in other clubs, I'm a member in rathcore and juniors aren't allowed claim 1st prize in major competitions. was just wondering was this the same in other clubs or what way does it work.

In Black Bush juniors are not eligible to win any of the main prizes and instead have their own junior category.

Juniors with a senior handicap can win the opens in Headfort, Opens only though and ( members at least) must be accompanied by two adults members during comps.
