Cannot ping Laptop from UPC Router

Hi,

I am looking to setup Unified Remote between my android phone and laptop but I cannot get the app to detect the server running on my laptop.

These seemed to work fine over Eircom eFibre but I can't get this to work over UPC Broadband.

When I try to ping my laptop from either my phone or UPC router, I get no response. I turned off my Comodo Firewall on the laptop but I still can't ping it.

Can anyone shed some light please

Is Wifi client isolation turned on?

Thanks Spear but there is no option in the advanced wireless settings to select client isolation.

Thanks, I've tried this already. I turned off my firewall on the laptop and couldn't ping so I assume the problem is with the UPC router.

The router is Technicolour TC7200.

See if you can turn off the router's built in firewall. Also see if turning on upnp helps - not sure if this is a pre-requisite for the software.

Can you ping both devices from a 3rd device?
