    I applied to a part-time retail assistant job in penneys for Christmas last week. I was just wondering if anyone else who applied has heard anything back?

    From the closing/removal date listed on the ad you could be waiting a couple of weeks. These days Penneys sort the applications centrally and choose those to progress forward.
