reseal bathtub

Hi:

I'm thinking to reseal the gap between bathtub and tiles, what's the best silicone for this job? Unibond(Bathroom), Tec7 or one hour shower silicone (seen in Tesco and Aldi)?

Go to a good diy shop and get sanitry silicone. Tec 7 is great stuff but it discolours very quickly.

Fill the bath before you apply sealant. This will have the gap at maximum and fill it properly.

Yep sealed around a sink with it few months later it had gone yellowish.

People around these parts are mad on Tec7. It's an adhesive primarily, and will discolour. Unibond sanitary sealant. Sorted.

I recently purchased ClearTec to seal shower enclosures which are leaking badly .. original sealant used bt builder is hopeless. Would the yellowing issue also apply to cleartec or would it be less noticeable? I could always try to exchange the cleartec for unibond if it was worthwhile.

I would think you would be ok with clear stuff.
