Exam Results - Need proof

    Hey there,

    Very quick question, I hope you can help me. I need to get a document saying I got X result in my MSC course in NUI Galway back in 2012.

    I need it urgently, is there any way NUI Galway can do this? I can only find an option to get a transcript which takes over 10 working days.

    You could ask them nicely and say that you need it urgently?

    Given that it's just a matter of doing a search and then printing a page, there's no reason it can't be done in less than ten days. Bad time of year for it though, what with the all the students starting back and all...

    Also, I've found that companies tend to be reasonably lenient if you promise to send them the transcript as soon as you receive it, explain that the admin in NUIG is busy/slow etc.

    Maybe email whoever is/was course director, see if they can give you a somewhat formal looking signed document until you get the transcript?

    Alternatively the secretary for the School or College where you did the masters will have details of it as well, though if you took some modules from another discipline, they won't be able to retrieve those.
