I see that Legacy around Naas a lot and in fairness it doesnt look bad at all in the flesh. The wheels are a big ropey granted, but it is in no way the worst car you will see on the road around here!

Ah that Subaru is a long way from Skanger. Even comes with 18" Subaru alloys. Faster than most lads cars on boards.ie anyway!

Even disregarding the silly matte black half color scheme, the photos alone are worthy of a chuckle.

The pictures are laughable but that's a fast car!

    280bhp, quite fast alright.
Another in the japanese small engine high BHP mode.
Interestingly similar power as my 300zx but only 66% of the CC.

a friend of mine has the sti model of this car., last year he spend thousands replacing all belts, tensioners, fluids, new clutch kit, etc etc all from subaru, had it for years, minded like a child, not modified or messed with. a few weeks ago it just suffered catastrophic engine failure, spat a rod or something to that effect. he said those engines were designed/ expected to require a full rebuild at 150k km's. it was hard to get more information as his english isn't great so i cant elaborate on "catastrophic failure", but with that car at 136k and it looking like it was dogged all the way there, i wouldn't touch it :pac: that said, i don't know if there's any truth to the 150k rebuild thing or what it should consist of.

€4400 asking is very cheap for it too.

I have one. Its not a car you can jump in and trash around the place. Needs some lovin and TLC before she lets you open her up :pac:

    Sounds so wrong.....

    Anyway..

The 4400 is probably because its damaged/crashed as its listed under that section (ya wouldn't list it there for a scratch or dent would you?).

judging by the advert, the owner seems like they may (or may not) be a sandwich short... i thought it was listed there because of the damage to the bootlid/ rear bumper.

either that or reality just hit home about his choice of mods.

would love on myself, if my income doubled or something :P

I think thats debatable as to whether or not it is a skangermobile :p

but on the other hand I think there is no doubt with this one, maybe he had something like the ford ranger in mind :D

2.6 and nice interior... but definitely distastefully modified.

It's not really a skangermobile though in all fairness.

Suitable lowering and the right set of wheels would have that Merc looking infinitely better.

Much as I love The Great Wave off Kanagawa, LOL! :D

Honestly though, a new set of wheels and a lick of rattle can black paint and you've got yourself a drift car.

Honestly other than the reg plate and mesh, that's quiet nice and very clean for a 91.
