Seat Ibiza 2003 - any good?

    Looking at 1.2 lt Seat Ibiza 2003 just passed NCT had a drive today and went well has just less 60k on clock.
    Anyone know anything about these cars if reliable, cheap to run?
    Any help appreciated

    Those 1.2 engines are fairly ****. i wouldn't touch it.

    Not overly expensive (though expensive is always a very variable quantity depending on your circumstances) but as small cars go. Reliable - in general terms yes, but (if it isn't obviously) have it checked out by someone knowledgeable. 60k on a car that age is low, which says to me it may have not had too hard a life.
