An incredible 55 likes for that page too! No doubt it'll be as much of a rip-roaring success as the official one!

    68 now ;)
If that's not going viral, I don't know what is :p

Maybe guinness never asked him to play arthurs day, and thats what annoys him, as he seems to have no bother playing other drink sponsored events known for excessive drinking.

This actually might not be a million miles from the truth. I do know that Diageo caused a substantial amount of bitterness in the local music scene (in Dublin anyway) by getting so many foreign acts in to play what they marketed as an Irish cultural event.

Having to listen to Moore waffle on about his usual 'social justice' shíte would actually drive you to drink.

I like Christy Moore but not the Arthur's Day song. Christy was a total alcoholic btw and he is like other alcoholics such as Ayatollah Khomeini, Shah of Iran 1979-89, one of many ex alcos who then became obsessive against drink later in their lives.

I find sometimes, the gargle dims the brain, as the song goes.
