Booking with Expedia

I have just booked a flight to Melbourne through Expedia. I am flying with Aer Lingus and Malaysia airlines with changeovers in London and Kuala Lumpur. My confirmation email from Expedia only includes one Airline Ticket Number, just wondering if that is normal? Also I can't seem to log in to the Manage My Booking sections of either website using the info Expedia sent me. Is that because I booked through a third party rather than directly through the airlines own website? Any advice would be much appreciated and thanks in advance.

Never booked with Expedia. I usually book with the airlines directly

It should be grand. Perhaps its an Amadeus reference ? have a look at www.checkmytrip.com to see if the ref works there ??

I've used them a few times. I think it took a couple of days before the proper booking reference showed up.

Yes, one booking reference/ticket number is perfectly fine, and not being able to log into the respective sites is perfectly normal. Airlines and travel agencies (such as Expedia) use a variety of different booking systems - so the reference provided by Expedia is for the system they use, not nessecarily the ones Aer Lingus and Malaysian use.

    I've booked Expedia Aer Lingus-London-Kualua Lumper-Perth.
Expedia will not confirm if my baggage is booked for multiple trip through to Perth or have I to book it in again in Heathrow.
They suggested I contact Aer Lingus but they said it was Expedia who had that info, can anyone help.

I also cannot book in on-line

I'm guessing it's Malaysia Airlines and baggage will be checked through to Perth from Dublin
