    Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has done an interview for Accenture recently? I have one coming up for the Analytics program, just looking for any advice or tips? What is the case study like? If anyone out there works for them in analytics could you drop me a PM briefly outlining your role even?

    Thanks a lot.

I did one for Tech Consulting Grad Programme just before Xmas. It was grand, quite relaxed. The interviewer was friendly and had a sheet with questions on it that weren't particularly difficult. He asked in in a relaxed way and there was time to think for a second before answering. Questions were mostly, a time you were in a team, a team leader, a time you had to analyse something and how you did it. Things like that.

The case study is basically just a simple situation that a company might find themselves in, where lack of technology for them is causing a problem. You have to give recommendations on what technology you might suggest they implement and how it would help.

I didn't think mine went very well but I got to final stage so even if you think its not going that well, stick with it.

Thanks for the reply. Seems like it's a fairly normal interview anyway those, guess I'll have those sort of answers + know what I can about the company.

Did you have your second round interview yet?

I got an offer for the Accenture TGP graduate programme, with an unconfirmed start date anywhere between Sept 2014 - Feb 2015. Anyone else in this position? Seems bizarre to be offering so far in advance of the start date.

I didn't realising they were still recruiting for Tech! Good luck with it! Recruiting seems to be an extremely long process but it was worth it in the end, for sure!

    Congrats.

I did the interview for an analytics position. Has anyone had an offer for that? Still haven't heard anything myself.

So, this thread didn't get many replies, but will try one more time. Have been offered a job with Accenture now (which I'm fairly happy with), just wondering what I can expect when I start? How is stuff like training and career development?

Where are you? Management or Technology? Start dates seem to be really impossible to get. I was told between September and February.

Well done! Can you tell what they asked on the interview and what education you have? I'm also considering similar types of jobs so interesting.

I'm an engineer originally, though they take on people from any background at all. In the interview they asked a lot about my own experiences with work/college, all about the regular competency based stuff, and a lot of questions about the company itself. It was a very fair interview I found, the interviewers were quite nice and there was nothing really out of the ordinary. Had to do interviews with four different people in total so it's a long enough process.

Hi, I have a similar HR screen call coming up, could you let me know the kind if questions that asked? It would be very helpful, as it was very short notice

    Thanks in advance

Depends on what field your in, you could do some training in Microsoft in Sandyford Microsoft are one of Accentures biggest clients.

Are you based in Grand Canal Dock or Plaza?

Not 100% sure which I'm based in yet, but I think it's Grand Canal Square, which departments are located where?

Still waiting on a start date too.

Got a start date of oct!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 35 rasgav

    Jan for me.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23 Destroyer Of Worlds

Jesus thats late, did you opt for that?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 35 rasgav

Not exactly, although I had mentioned that I was trying to avoid being sent for training in October (daughter's birthday), so maybe that's it.

Still, waiting that bit longer isn't the worst thing for me right now, so I'm not unhappy.

Just out of interest, the graduate salary (analyst position) is posted on their website obviously but does anyone know what the pay levels are for more experienced positions? Like consultant or manager?

    Hi,
Just had a quick question for someone who is already on the grad programme. I know the salary details and that the contract is permanent but what sort of hours do you work?, how many days holidays etc? also in the analytics stream what sort of work do you do and do you rotate across different departments? Thanks in advance
