It's the same, except people don't seem to stick around so long, now that they can close their accounts.

I don't see how it was "more PC" in the past. Maybe some of the sensible, reasonable people who used to respond to some of the almight sh*te that was posted stopped bothering, but then there also doesn't seem to be as much ill-informed hateful tripe posted, so that doesn't bring out the "PC Brigade" in response.
