Which country in Europe would you move to and why?

So say for whatever reason life isn't working out in Ireland and you're offered €8k to get yourself up and running in another European country - which one would you go to and why?

I'd probably head off to Germany myself, reasons being that there is low unemployment there, when I visited I LOVED it. A lot of their social policies agree with me and the women when I was there were fairly decent (North-West of the country). The fact that my second favourite football team is in Germany helps too :P

So AH where would you go to?

8k, what a random figure to choose!

The Netherlands. I know a few Dutch people and they are all so sound and laid back

    Germany, no questions.

€8k? I wouldn't get out of bed for 8000 let alone leave the country.

If life wasn't working out in Ireland I'd sort it out here rather than run elsewhere.

Yeah the Dutch are cool alright. That actually ties with my choice of Germany :L

Probably Belgium. I already live there so I could spend the 8k on beer.

I met a Dutchman today. He was ranting about how much he hates French people and how some of them are nice but they're a tiny minority. But, you know, so is he.

8k is more than generous, thats 2-3 months wages,if not more.If you can't find a job in that time you're a failure or you pissed the opportunity up the wall.

If I could get the salary I get here in Spain, then there. That would be very hard though.
Germany & The Netherlands would be great.
If Switzerland counted then there, nice place, wages are huge, tax is low.
Sweden would be nice I'd say (so would other Nordic countries but I don't know a lot about them).

Uk would be nice depending on where you lived.

Holland, was in Amsterdam a few years ago and found it a great city, and no it wasn't because of the hookers.

I lived in London for 2 years, liked it but once was enough.
