Bringing family from Kerry who have never even been to Dublin before up to see the All Ireland Final tomorrow. Just looking for parking anything 10/15 mins walk from Croke Park.

I have the option of parking at the Red Cow, Luas into the City and walk out then to Croke Park.

Clonliffe College @ €10 a day is apparently very hard to get out of after so its been said on other forums here.

Any other options. The company with me wouldn't be able for walking too long a distance.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

We have used a very handy car park in the past, take a left at the top of O Connell Street onto Parnell Street then take the next left onto Moore Lane, the car park is then on the left,

Going by that site the car park is on Eccles Street which is closer to Croke Park

You can pre book your car parking space as well.

How would that car park be for leaving after the match?

The Luas would be a good option, it means your not going to struggle after the game to get out of the city and if the kids are young they might enjoy the tram, plus when your back at the red cow after then your on the right road home. Good luck by the way.

If up early try the O Connell schools, I think its Russell St, just off the NCR and behind the Davin Stand.

Also try the Mater Hospital, special rate for match days.

Don't go to Clonliffe College, too much hassle getting out.

It should be fairly hectic tomorrow

The Luas is probably the best option if you dont want the hassle of traffic after the game.

Mater Hospital back out onto the M50 would be sticky enough leaving after?

No more different than another place close to the ground. Its straight out the navan rd to the M50.

You have to decide which is more important to you.
Close to Croke park or easy to get back on the road

If its kids you have then I'd recommend the O Connell schools.

    Its open, i.e not a multi storey/underground.
It has park benches in a shed so you have shelter, and it has toilets.
And its as close to the ground as you can get

Never be in a rush away after a game in Croker. It is stressful
take your time and leave 2 hours.

Particularly after a final. Win or lose I'll always stay for the presentation, enjoy the celebrations or clap our lads off the field after the speech.

Hedigans pub have a match day special for parking , and a large car park. It's on the way to the Finglas exit of M50 so traffic shouldnt be an issue.

Park at the red cow Luas and take the luas. Much easier and you won't have the lines of traffic heading back to kerry in defeat.

I'd go for this option if I were you. The walk to Hedigans is handy and you'll have as minimal traffic as you could wish as near to Croker.

The only thing is that the queues for the Luas from N7 (Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Tipp, Clare) dwellers is a nightmare for all.

Hedigans for me or anywhere on that side of Croker.
