Cosmic forces were conspiring to deprive me of my sleep-in today. I was just trying to make it to half 8, but it wasn't meant to be:
    • 6:08: fire alarm chirping every minute due to a low battery
    • 6:44: cats fighting
    • 7:10: kids up early talking a full volume right outside door
    • 8:00: jackhammering from construction site
    • 8:10: wife coughing

Can anyone beat me? What ruined your sleep-in?

Falling off the Slimming World wagon & indulging in a massive burger & portion of onion rings last night. A new low, I'm so ashamed. :o
Now I'm paying for it in kind..... #jaxahoy!

Wife and children gone to her parents for weekend so was hoping for a decent lie-in.

    No such luck.
    Nightmare woke me at 6.30am
Got another hour of bad sleep.
Cat meowing outside got me out of bed at 7.30am. She's now asleep.
