Official LFC store launching in Dublin on October 3rd. Didi Hamann to assist the launch with a meet 'n' greet and a session talking about his times at LFC.

About time they launch one here!

Only 24.75 hours until our next game. Hopefully an improvement in form but it'd be amusing to see Samuel upset by a controversial Liverpool win.

I hope we don't suffer the European hangover, I can't remember if it was during benitez or houlliers time that we struggled to win after the mid week match.

    All teams do.

For me the only time Lucas has looked good in our midfield was when we were consistently finishing 7th his level imo. He isn't and never has been good enough to start regularly for a team in the top 4.

I could probably get my head through there.

Too much hassle to find any stats.

I know teams do find it difficult, especially after an away tie but I think we went through a spell where we just could not get a result at all.

Something similar to how Spurs found it last season.

Looks like he is trying to headbutt Sterling. You can see quite clearly his head his pointed in his direction. Shocking stuff.

According to bib theory: Mignolet, Manquillo, Skrtel, Lovren, Moreno, Gerrard, Lucas, Henderson, Sterling, Borini, Balotelli

If the team is right we need big performances out of Lucas & Borini.

And yet he played 2/3 of league games the last time we finished 2nd before last season. Good job we leave the managing to managers eh ;)

Not sure how the bob theory is working out this season but I think almost every rumoured team has been wrong so far!

In all fairness has there been any time in the last 18 months that he has looked like a top 4 type of player? There's got to be a stage where you cut your losses.

We should be setting the bar high, when the time comes to replace Gerrard we should be looking at established world class holding midfielders, or at the very least someone young that has shown signs of developing into one.

(I will add i just have'nt seen enough of Can to judge if he'll be that player.)

Not talking about the past 18 months

The poster said he was never good enough for top 4. Clearly talking nonsense.

Lucas was a monster for Liverpool for a good while. A lot of those fond memories you have of Alonso and Torres from when they were there are because of the fantastic work he was doing. He lost a lot with that bad injury but before it he was one of the best defensive players in the league, I'd assume nearly every Liverpool fan would agree with that, maybe I'm wrong...

I really hope that bib theory team is wrong, we've been down this road before with Gerrard and Lucas, it just does not work.

Yeah but he's ****e now and so is Borini (hardly kicked a ball for LFC)

    Suarez was overrated

That 08 09 season he had 25 league appearances can't find how many of them were starts but of 39 total appearances that season he came on as sub 19 times. It's safe to say he started no more than 15 league games maximum that year . The midfield was masch alonso Gerrard . He wasn't a regular starter which was my point and wasn't good enough to be. I'd imagine a fair few of his starts were the league games either side of the champs lge

I certainly wouldn't agree with it. Has always been Too slow gives away too many fouls and rarely gets on the half turn to pass the ball forward. Would he have played all that much with alonso he only became a regular when alonso left. He had a couple of good seasons when we were an average team when the bar is raised he struggles to get in the team.

He struggles to get into the team as he isn't at the same level since his injury. That's incredibly obvious to the vast majority of Liverpool fans.

I'm also talking about prior to his injuries he was only a regular when we weren't very good. I'm not judging him on now as he used to be better but he in my eyes has never been good enough to bbe a regular starter at a top 4 team.

I see enrique is taking creepy pics of the lads while they're sleeping on the train to London.

    He's a strange one.

Footballers who don't play football have to entertain themselves somehow.

Most choose hookers. I think he prefers selfies. In thongs. *shudder*

If I ever see the Gerrard-Lucas lineup in an important match again I think I'll give up on life.

Im glad to see Borini getting his chance if it is indeed true. The lad has received a lot of stick from a few idiots because he stood his ground and wanted to stay and fight for his place. I say fair play to him because having players with a good attitude and who are hungry are just what we need right now and he was an important player for Sunderland last season and Im sure the fans will appreciate that hes willing to give it a go and prove everyone wrong and they will get behind him. Hope it works out for him as he was lively when he came on against Ludogorets the other night.

I'm not aware of anyone who gave him stick for staying?
