    A tractor on a motorway?

If there was a shop on the M9 he'd pull up outside it, get out of the tractor, block all the traffic, and head into the shop wearing shíte encrusted wellies so he could buy 20 Benson and a bottle of Lucozade.

If the stuff comes out of the tank, treat it as a roundabout.

If he's doing 30mph then he's not doing anything illegal.

Still an ignorant muppet, mind you.

Posting on Boards while driving is also hazardous.

That's some trick. Vehicles doing 70 behind one doing 30.

If she's not red, leave her in the shed.

So? They go up and down the M8 every single day.
Preferably during rush hour, for a bit of entertainment.

Long as he has the hazards on he'll be grand.

Clearly I'm not the one driving!!
We were behind a lorry which went around a bend, came up behind the tractor, indicated out within inches of said slurry tank and then driver had about 1 sec to observe the obstruction and indicate out past him. No hazards on.

this is the Lorry driver's fault ...not the tractor

what is the tractor doing wrong?
list of things not allowed on a motorway are:

people who do not hold a full driving licence for the category of vehicle they drive,
vehicles incapable of a speed of at least 50km/h,
vehicles with an engine capacity of 50cc. or less,
    people driving on 'L' plates,
    invalid-carriages,
vehicles that do not use inflated tyres,
    cyclists,
    pedestrians, and
    animals.

The M9 is a quiet motorway compared to most so I wouldnt be that worried about. Plus hes not on it during rush hour so tbh I dont think its much of an issue. You have the overtaking lane to pass him with ;)

perhaps don't drive so close to the back of the lorry and you would have plenty of time to react ?

Doing nothing illegal once he has a 50k box, doesn't even need to be doing that speed just be capable of it. It's a big obvious vehicle that if you are driving correctly and using your observation skills you should be able to see it way off in the distance and safely overtake it.

A small car doing 50 mph is more dangerous (as it's harder to spot) and it's much more common.

That must be some bend on a motorway. The M9 you said?

And you are not suggesting a vehicle drives with it's hazard lights on on a motorway are you?
