Trying to whiten some yellowed vests ...... soaked overnight in bleach ... cleaned them but no change in colour.

I got the bleach from supermarket ... the toilet brands.

I was wondering if there are stronger varieties of bleach available ? Where in Dublin would I get it if there is ?

You can use normal household bleach, I don't know if that's the same as the toilet ones? There are normally laundry instructions on the bottle for correct quantities etc.

Or you could try Napisan. It was originally for cleaning cloth nappies but is marketed as a stain remover now.

It's such a nuisance they don't all put the strength on their adverts.
