Booking with HostelBookers- sterling/ Eur?

Ok this might sound really stupid but I was just about to make a booking on Hostelbookers until the final part & they said they charge in Sterling.. Am I right in saying I'll be charged extra for that? I am viewing it in Eur prices..

are you booking a property in the UK? If so then probably the euro price you see is only indicative but the booking goes through in local currency.
Its what happens with many hotel booking sites, and booking it in the local currency on your card is normally better than when the middleman bills/charges you in Euro as they normally take a bit of a cut too for themselves.
