That I really don't know enough Maths to be a Physics student and that a lot of Maths lecturers are not very good teachers.

That about 30% of new university students have no idea how to pray properly, and they don't seem to know that this will have a negative effect on their final marks in my class!

I learned that eating well and doing a warm up before a gym session is all a fad, and that the best way to go about is spending the weekend on the beer.

Must have lost half a stone in beer sweat alone in the gym last night, and have never felt better today :D

I learned that Gaza fired a rocket into Israel today for the first time since the war ended.

Also learned that ISIS are up to their usual tricks, this time shooting down a Syrian war plane and boasting about it.

And that jaffa cakes are still vastly overrated and almond milk tastes quite nice in coffee.

Another way to say "It's not fair" in German.

You never stop learning a language, not even your own.

You both disgust and intrigue me in that very sentence.

I must ask though, which brand of Jaffa Cakes? I've found that if it ain't McVitie's, you can forget about it.

Today I have learned that I no longer like beks.

Her mother is a hamster, and her father smells of elderberries.

I learnt today that married Jewish couples have to abstain from any form of physical contact after the birth of their child. Brilliant idea!

That cycling down my hallway for the craic isn't a good idea.

I refer to my last post.

That many of the stereotypes about European nationalities are grounded in a large amount of truth. In today's instance; that Italians are as slovenly and untruthful as their reputation.

That I need to give myself at least an hour and a half to get ANYWHERE in London by tube or by bus. And that this will never cease to infuriate me about this city.

That I am brushing my teeth 'too vigorously' but that I have 'lovely teeth'. I like my dentist.

That I still have a trace of a Canadian accent and that probably makes me immediately unlikeable to other Irish people in London. Eek.

That waiting more than five minutes for the tube to arrive feels like an eternity.
