Smart arses. The ones that always have a joke to pop up, regardless of the topic. Boil my pee.

Cough "pot" splutter "kettle" a-hem "black!"

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,489 ✭✭✭Yamanoto

Absentee landlords - folks who start a thread, receive advice & then don't bother their arses to make an appearance again.

    I'm not talking noobs either.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,421 ✭✭✭ToddyDoody

Folks who only read the first post and reply only to the first post

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 140 ✭✭The Rabbit

Liverpool and Manchester United supporters in the soccer forum.

Grown men, sniping and gloating back and forth in a never ending cycle of shìte.

    It all seems quite tragic.

Wazky's material has been top notch recently to be fair. :p

Spotty student socialists. Usually with a dose of barstool republicanism added to the mix.

The "what's your opinion, OP" brigade.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,985 ✭✭✭✭dgt

Opinionated ****, who spout the same cancerous rubbish over and over and over again. Then have the nerve to use quotation marks and call people high horses when someone stands up and disagrees with their mealy mouthed opinions...

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 614 ✭✭✭blankblank

Holier-than-thou boardies who think the number of posts they've racked up is directly proportional to the weight their argument has.

Yes, its you I am talking about.

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 279 ✭✭thomur

No harm in asking someone else's opinion

The OP is supposed to provide an opinion. Dems the rules.

    I love everyone on Boards!

    Even the trolls!

    Side note: 3,800 Posts! Yay!

The kind that just radiate smugness, constantly correct peoples grammar and judge the points the poster made on the attitude of the post. Maybe that's just one poster. Ah well.

Also, the kind that act like the can predict the future, and treat everyone else who thinks whatever they're predicting won't happen like an idiot. Wait, same poster as above...

I hate most of you tbh.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,514 ✭✭✭bee06

The posters who joined years ago but have only about 13 posts and have huge gaps between their posts.

  • Moderators, Music Moderators Posts: 35,943 Mod ✭✭✭✭dr.bollocko

    Intolerant people.

  • Registered Users Posts: 750 ✭✭✭onlyrocknroll

Those who question the point of the thread, or post "just google it". If you're so concerned about your precious time, why go to the bother of whinging.

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 1,513 ✭✭✭whupdedo

The ones who reply to a post with just "link???" Just Google it you tosser

And people who thank a second post just because it's the second post, it might not be funny or intelligent or smart but ill thank it anyway because 63 others have thanked it...jeez

I find in really annoying when somebody looks for advice be it a personal/motoring/wedding/etc issue. When they receive the advice and posters tell them they are wrong/don't like the advice there given. They begin to attack the posters and they can't understand how there wong.

What kind of poster's annoy you the most?

    Liberals.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 642 ✭✭✭Bafucin

I hate posters who pretend that they are just ordinary people without an agenda, but their entire posting history is on one topic and they seem to pop up in every single thread that is ever started on that topic

Posters obviously not here for the social or discussion aspect but purely for the bitterness.

    Re-posters!!
Especially people on "You Laugh You Lose" who can't bother their Ar$e to check back a page or two, or in some cases only a few posts back, to see if someone else has posted the same joke or funny picture.
The joke ain't gonna be any funnier ffs.

The anti irish brigade on boards, no not the anti republicans as everyone is entitled to their opinion on things, just the ones who contstantly moan about how crap they think ireland is, even over the smallest things, i just dont get that at all as it really isnt as bad as people make out, plenty of worse places on this rock we call earth to have been born and live in!

There are posters who can go on and on about the same ****e for pages...they tend to be the ones that say 'oh you walk of for ages after your last post' yeah because you are boring my balls. Extremists racists or sexists or extreme feminists or nazis I dunno Christians too or atheists..it's like they all have the same personality..I can't post on a topic for ages ....some posters post on those topics for a page or two and then move on. Some who get in at the start are there five yrs later.

Actually do you ever notice that those extreme types even though they are arguing two totally different views could be the same brain?

I can't take it...they would win every argument with me ...I have a low pain threshold unless it's sexy pain.

The "tough love" brigade, like on the thread about the teenage girl in the make-up section of a store. I feel so bad for that girl, grinds my gears how horrible people are being just to look tough. :-/

She was even crying and yet they're throwing out "stop looking for offence" shyte.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,412 ✭✭✭Shakespeare's Sister

    None.

The day that something on the internet annoys you is the day to turn off the internet.
The internet and real life often blur. The internet *is* real life in some ways.

Now don't claim THAT one. Something on the net gets at everyone eventually.

The whole "how dare you blame the victim!" thing.

I'm sorry, but in certain situations you should take steps to ensure that you don't end up being harmed. If you don't do that then it's partially your fault you were hurt (or whatever the case may be), no matter what way you look at it.

They'll also rip the piss out of sympathizers. I am not always the milk of human kindness either. My reply while not mean was hardly empathetic. I think we all need to take a step back sometimes and really think 'Would I say this in real life ?'.
