    Real gangsta stuff...

    - Mo peds / scooters. There were tons of them 15 years ago.
    - Kids called Phillip. Name seems to have gone extinct for the young generation.
    - Kids playing kerbs / squares / hide and seek out on the road.
    - Push lawnmowers (except our one).
    - Supercans (500ml cans of coke / 7up like in the 1980s)

I remember my Grandad would order a pint of Murphy's and a "small one". After about 5 of those he would be half pissed and call for a sing-song, blaring out "Hello Patsy Fagan, HELLO!!" at the top of his lungs.

Historical TV dramas where the actors bear a physical resemblence to the real life person they're playing. And did not have a skinny actor playing a famously fat monarch.Ie this guy.

Historical TV dramas that were moderatly historicaly accurate and diden't have token black characters in settings like Medieval England.

But Henry VIII was skinny and athletic in his younger years. He got fat after a fall from a horse made it hard for him to be active. Also there were black people in medieval England, even Shakespeare has black characters in his plays.

I'd love to play cards in a pub. Seems like a proper 'man's man' activity.

In my old local it was 50/50 men to women playing cards. Mainly at Christmas playing for "the turkey".
Are glass milk bottles a thing of the past?

Ahh yes, the humble black football boots. Back in the day when shorts were shorts and diving was rare.

Kids going tricker treating in bin bags. That's what we used to do when we were young-uns, we used black bin bags as capes and vampire blood was your mothers lipstick. Oh, how times have changed.

Did anyone else have a bread man as well as a milkman back in the day? I have a vague memory of him going to all the houses to be paid once a week.

Besides parks and playgrounds, you don't really see that many kids playing outside these days.

Two of them kicking a football around my street outside now. Though I think they're only doing lookout for their uncle. He's broken into the house across the street.

We never seen it, not now, not ever...there was and always will be corruption. Life, it isn't fair, you just have to deal with it. :)

I don't believe in 'not ever'.

But we don't have to deal with it. We can do better.
