Hiya does anyone know how to stop screen from lighting up and phone coming out of standby when you get a new text message on a samsung galaxy 3 with android 4.3 jellybean - when text message arrives i go to get phone out of shirt pocket and because screen is awake i end up pressing stuff its a tad annoying.

Also along the same lines does anyone know how to stop the screen lighting up briefly when plugging in and out usb charger - i have the 'keep phone awake whilst charging' setting unticked.

change notifications should work that way, never had a samsung so i dunno if its the same for each droid
