Cancelled my pre-order for FIFA from Amazon. Going to buy it on the US PS Store.

Working out at about €46 and you'll have it on the Tuesday as opposed to the Friday. Probably the best deal I've found anyway.

From reading other boardies they haven't been caught for customs & website is 100% with plenty of good reviews on boards.

I can't really see any difference between US & Canadian Version. However, I am thinking of cancelling & just ordering online through my US PS Store Account.

Take it I need to make an American account first right? Is it straight forward?

I've looked into it looks easy enough is it safe though? No chance been caught out?

Actually trying to do it now have everything set up but it won't let me add funds to my account on ps4 using the American address or my PayPal. Any ideas?

You need to buy a psn card on amazon. Like a top up card, your own credit card and paypal have your irish address etc so they wont work.

So just buy the amount u need for the game redeem it on the store on thats it?

Theres two more things just thinking about though can u buy a $50 and $10 and top up one after the other seeing as its $59.99 ? and what happens with the game being out a couple of days before hand on the us store if i go back and play the game on my own psn login my Irish one will i get it banned for playing a game before its release date online?

Use PC Game Supply website to buy US Store Credit and you would have to use your USA account to play the game online I would imagine.

I see the Amazon PS4 pre-order price is £44.86 - I'm not too bothered about having it on launch day or anything, so does anyone know if the price usually goes up on amazon after it's released? Or should I be able to buy it at that price a few weeks after release?

Think from what I've heard in the past a lot can depend on how well game is selling or reviewing.

I've seen the price drop on games that weren't selling well but never go up cause they where!

Same commentators on the US version. Cover art only applies to the box, you would be buying a digital version off the psn store so that wouldnt be an issue. Not sure what other branding?

Get I think it's 40 free gold packs one every week. Get Messi on loan for first 5 games in ultimate team. Get few other extra teams kits etc. It's not a massive thing really considering most time I got crap in the packs.

Used a canadian Address and switched region to there.

Costt 48.50€

Any one using the canadian way tehres a tax of 8$.

Tried using american details but wouldnt let me. not much in the difference

Just seen people here discussing buying the game from American/Canadian PSN store and would like some more details if possible.

I have a Canadian PSN account as well as an Irish one (my primary account). If I was to buy the game through PS Store on my Canadian account I should then be able to play it on both my Irish and Canadian PSN accounts as I have made my PS4 the primary console for both accounts. I'll also be able to get it 3 days earlier than European Release.

Does all this sound correct or does anyone foresee any problems?

Are there any downsides to buying this on the U.S PSN store? How does the match making work? Would you be more likely to be matched with Americans when playing online? I'd like to get it 3 days early, but I don't want to be stuck with a lag-fest for a year.

Any other possible downsides?

I went ahead and ordered. There shouldn't be any problems at all playing it once the European release date has past. You could easily buy a physical copy of the game from america in a few months time and you wouldn't have any problems. Its the exact same downloading it.

I have man.
I used the canadian Way, Switched region and Address.
Cost me 70$ all in, I have it downloaded and all.
IT was 69$-10% Discount = 62$+8$ Sales Tax ( Canadian Dollars)
Cost me 49€, cant play till 23rd

I got €40 store credit for Fifa 14 in Xtravision this morning. Was offered €20 cash. Same for COD.

Thought it might be worth noting in here for anyone else looking to offload it before the new one drops.
